Passionate about all things Italian, I became London’s first female truffle dealer in 2005.

I married into an Italian family and learnt everything my Umbrian father-in-law could teach me. He is a true truffle connoisseur - a “buon gustaio” - a man with a palate for the fine things in life, who takes pride in sourcing the best. He introduced me to the world of truffle hunters, the people on the ground whose hunting secrets pass only through their family, from generation to generation. Through this direct connection, I was able to access the freshest and best truffles on the market and learnt how to buy different truffle varieties all year round.

Our connections in Italy were originally in Umbria, Tuscany, Abruzzo and Marche. Our network has grown to include the north of Italy, France and Australia.

Before long I began to supply top London restaurants including The River Café, Murano, Trullo, and Petersham Nurseries. Renowned chefs such as Angela Hartnett, Yannick Alléno, Stevie Parle and Alain Ducasse have become loyal clients.

I also sell to Fortnum & Mason, Panzers, Harrods and other well-known London stores and delicatessens as well as to caterers and event planners.
